Three Juno Nominations For Amanda

In Toronto today, Amanda Marshall received three Juno Award nominations including Album Of The Year, Single Of The Year ("Birmingham") and Female Vocalist Of The Year. Amanda will also be among this years performers at the awards show. The awards will be handed out at the 26th annual Juno Awards on Sunday March 9 at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, ON. CBC Television will broadcast the proceedings live at 8:00 PM (ET).

Amanda Caught On Film

Amanda filmed videos for two songs while in Vancouver recently. The songs are "Dark Horse" and "Fall From Grace". CTV's W5 was also in Vancouver shooting Amanda for a segment scheduled to air in conjunction with the Grammy and Juno awards.

Amanda To Sing Canadian National Anthem

The NBA All-Star Game will have Amanda Marshall singing the Canadian National Anthem at this year's game on February 9, in Cleveland, Ohio. Approximately 600 million viewers from 170 countries will see Amanda do Canada proud.

Racking Up The Air Miles In February

Amanda will visit Japan and Europe during the month of February following the wrap up of her Canadian tour. Amanda will actually start her tour of Japan on January 30, starting six dates of promotional shows in Tokyo. These will run until February 4. Amanda follows this up with two shows at Club Quattro in Osaka on February 5 and 6, before ending up in Tokyo at Club Quattro on February 7 and 8. From Japan Amanda will head for Europe. The European dates are as follows:
February 11 - Berlin, Germany
February 12 - Frankfurt, Germany
February 13 - Munich, Germany
February 15 - Hamburg, Germany
February 16 - Cologne, Germany
February 17 - Utrecht, Germany
February 19 - Paris, France
February 20 - London, England
February 22 - Paris, France
February 23 - Oslo, Norway
February 24 - Stockholm, Sweden
Watch for Amanda's return to North America with opening dates on John Mellencamp's US tour from March 6 to May 7.

Amanda Performs On Regis & Kathie Lee Again

For the second time in four months, Amanda Marshall performed on the Live With Regis & Kathie Lee show. On today's show Amanda performed the song "Fall From Grace" which is the next US single from her self-titled debut album.

Amanda Rings In The New Year

Amanda Marshall and her band braved the cold of our Canadian winter to help ring in 1997 at Toronto's Nathan Phillips Square. The Square located in downtown Toronto, is the site of the annual New Year's Eve bash that attracts tens of thousands of people each year. The celebration is also televised live to all those people who prefer to celebrate in the warmer environment of their living room. Amanda performed "Birmingham", "Dark Horse" and at the stroke of midnight, she led the crowd in the traditional "Auld Lang Syne."

Canada To See (and Hear) More Of Amanda In 1997

After taking a much deserved break for the holidays, Amanda will be heading out to Quebec and Eastern Canada for selected dates. Her Canadian tour, which began in November out in British Columbia has continually sold out as she has made her way east. For those of you in Quebec, you'll find her at:
