Hi All,

...I can't believe how long it's been since the last letter...sincere
apologies for taking so ve-e-e-ery long to check in. The months have kept me
busy; there is much to report (I just haven't gotten around to the actual
reporting.) Okay, where to start....um, let's see, what have I done since
last we spoke?? Finished the 1st bit of the tour in Canada. Had an
incredible time. Never laughed so hard or had as much fun every night as we
did -- amazing shows and amazing audiences, one and all. Highlights too
numerous to list, but if you were there, you already know. Thank you so much
for providing a constant reminder of why I love doing this so very, very
much.

Uh, what else...finished in Canada, left for Chicago (thank you MIX and
House of Blues), press, press, more press, photo shoots (press with posing!),
radio shows (press with sound effects!) To Toronto for Fashion Cares -- a
totally fabulous annual AIDS fundraiser that is hosted by MAC cosmetics.
This year's musical guests were Angie Stone, David Usher, and me. A really
good time, an unquestionably excellent cause. I highly recommend it if you
get the chance, and not just because I finally got to meet Jeanne Beker from
Fashion Television, my favorite show to watch when working out. (FYI: She's
tiny, and very nice. Yay.) Shot a t.v. special that will air in August on
Music Choice in the USA, and on CTV in September in Canada. Shot it in
Montreal...one of the all-time great cities, period. There was a Ben&Jerry's
1/2 block from our hotel -- now THAT'S urban planning! After that, more
press, radio -- oh, speaking of radio, get this: So, I hafta wake up early to
be on Mad Dog & Billie on KISS92 in Toronto yesterday morning...no big deal, I'm usually up pretty early anyway. Nonetheless, I set the alarm. Just to be
sure. Y'know, wakeup insurance. I awake to the sound of bells -- and then,
it happens. That
"why-is-the-phone-ringing-what-time-is-it-oh-no-oh-no-THE-ALARM-DIDN'T-GO-OFF!
!!!" feeling. Lo-o-ove that. Nothing like heart failure to start your day
off right. But I digress...ummm, getting ready to go to Europe, Ieaving for
Italy next week. Can't wait. Viva Italia!! Going to Italy, Germany,
France, Switzerland -- check the "tour" section for showdates, you know the
drill. I haven't been back since my January/February trip, so this'll be
fun. Some of the band will be seeing these countries for the first time, so
everyone's all excited.

"Everybody's Got A Story" is coming out everywhere now...all over
Europe, the USA, so this is a very exciting (and busy) time...we keep adding
dates and appearances as we go, so the summer promises to pretty jammed. But
l WILL check in from time to time, I swear. No, really.
Finally, on an unrelated note, I gotta say this: Caught Pink's show
recently....how refreshing to hear a singer SING. You go, girl.
Okay, kids, that's all for now. More soon.

Love
A.
